I am just so excited that I’ll be able to go to Russia to witness the maks-2009 air show because I am really a fan of aircrafts at work. It is basically part of our trip to Moscow Metropol where we will be seeing tons of aircrafts, including the Mikoyan Migs. But what I really am looking forward to is the opportunity to be able to buy some Yuri Gagarin mementos that I could add to my collection of aeronauts and cosmonauts souvenirs and collectibles. As far as I know, going to Yuri Gagarin memorial complex would be a part of the trip so hopefully, I would be able to get something valuable in there. I don’t care how much I would have to pay… I just have to have something that actually belonged to him. I don’t care if it is a toothpick that he used or a straw that he sipped liquid from, I just have to get something that is purely connected to him. I already have a lot of Neil Armstrong collectibles and I think it would also be a good addition if I could get some stuff that belonged to the first man in outer space and the very first man to orbit the Earth.

I have always given my son what he wants because I really love him and I would do anything to make him really happy, but the last request that he had almost made me not to grant him because he wanted to have trampoline to put inside the backyard. It is actually not that hard to get since I used to enjoy jumping around all day on our old trampoline that my dad bought for us, but because of the situation that occurred when we were young, I kind of had a trauma on those things. My younger brother almost broke his neck before because of those things and I don’t want that to happen to my kid, until I was able to find some trampolines online that are actually safe to play on to, which basically made me grant my son’s wish. I was able to buy one from Springfree Trampolines, where they sell the world’s safest trampolines. They are safe because it is actually the only trampoline that I have seen that doesn’t use springs, has safety net to keep the person using it not to fall off from the side, and there are no steel frame! Talk about safety indeed! –>

I have just finished installing a new bar counter inside my house (well at least paid someone to do it for me) and I am now seeking for some nice bar stools to go well with the bar design that I have. It was quite the contemporary style design and I thought that black bar stools should fit right in to it, plus the fact that I am not sure which color to use so I’ll just go for a more generic look for the bar stools. I went to a web site that my friend told me should be selling the thing that I am looking for and he was right because they have tons of black stool designs to choose from. I decided to go with the Neptune bar stools because of the nice backrest that it has. I thought that if ever we get someone really drunk (that means you Joel!) he won’t be falling on his back or neck because of dizziness since we have a good backrest to support him. Anyway, the bar stools should come within a week so I should just wait for them to come, and then the next step would be to choose which liquor I put in there. –>

I have been so amazed with all of the things that I have been seeing in the internet lately… it’s not because of the increasing number of swine flu cases all over the world or seemingly emergence of sex tapes of some Hollywood celebrities, or even the global economic crisis still being affected and Barrack Obama is having a hard time pulling things off to make sure that America gets the best of it, but because of the great bargains that I have been able to see in the last couple of days, more particularly on the LCD TVs that I saw online. I was surprised that there are actually some televisions, beside Pioneer, Sony or any other mainstream products, that has good qualities. One perfect example is the BEKO 19WLP530HID HD READY DIGITAL LCD TV that I found in eldonelectricals.co.uk where they sell this beautiful LCD monitor at a very reasonable price, and I think you could actually bargain with the price because they encourage sending a mail or calling them so a price arrangement would be done. This is certainly something that I will buy the moment that I get my pay, and will tell my friends to try and see as well. –>

I’m on my regular shopping last weekend when something got my attention. There’s a long queue of people near a certain shelf of beauty products. A woman, dressed like a therapist was doing a demonstration about their products. To satisfy my curiosity, I came near and watched. According to her antioxidants are the best anti aging hormones. As much as I wanted to know more, my little girl tugged me on my skirt and that only meant we have to keep moving. My keen interest was never satiated so later that night I researched more about hormone treatment. I was given an array of different websites about it until I settled to Palm Springs Life Extension Institute. It’s where I got all the insights about the science of hormone replacement therapy and Dr. Chein. I was also glad to know that they have a complete line of skin care products and medications. Being a vain, I immediately contacted them and asked multiple questions about life span and skin aging. All my questions were sent to Dr. Chen because I wanted to make sure that my queries would be answered directly. For the meantime, I would just wait for the answers and I’m pretty much excited to try this wonderful miracle of science. –>

Tourists that want to travel to Russia will find a lot of ways to spend their hard earned cash, mainly in Moscow and St. Petersburg where shops catering for tourists are found in great quantity. Here you’ll find art and antique stores, souvenir shops, department stores and outdoor open markets. Russia’s shops, stalls and department stores sell many items to travelers, including crystal bowls, leather bags, and woolen sweaters, as well as fine amber jewelry, paintings and sculptures. It is essential to set aside extra time for souvenir hunting… shopping can be a time consuming activity, owing to the relatively muddled state of the retail trade in the Russian Federation. It is also advisable to shop around, as prices vary radically. Interestingly enough, at each station of the Trans-Siberian Railway you will find old ladies who will sell homemade food. They will offer you warm food like pelmeni (little boiled pasties), bread, sausages, pickles, and smoked fish. However, each station has something different. Do not hesitate to buy something from them, their goods are delicious. Then of course, if shopping still doesn’t satisfy your needs for adventure, you can always book a reservation for their adventure travel and be the jet pilot of one of their fighter jets in the USSR era, the Mig-29. –>

Finding a new inkjet printer when you’re on a budget can seem easy when printer manufacturers are offering printers for under £20 in some cases. However this is a common trap that people fall into when looking for a budget printer. The problem with budget printers, especially the very cheap ones, the replacement ink cartridges can cost twice as much as the printer itself. When this is the case it’s clear to see that what appeared to be a budget printer is in fact a very expensive printer. This is why it is imperative to price up the cartridges a printer uses before committing to the purchase. Finding the prices of ink cartridges and findings what cartridges printers use is best done on the internet. There are loads of sites that will be able to you what cartridges and what price the cartridges are by selecting the printer model from the list. By doing it on the web saves a lot of leg work and gives you a better understanding of what products are avaible. Don’t be put off if you find the branded ink cartridges for a particular printer are expensive as you may find that there are cheaper compatible inks available. For example cfbsupplies.co.uk offer compatible inks for the Epson SX405 at £11 for a full set but the genuine Epson inks are £30 for a set. –>

I was able to buy some DVDs of my favorite series in television and I just can’t wait for them to arrive to my house! I was able to get three seasons of Friends, the ones that I don’t have yet, and they should be coming later this week, making my weekend a marathon of the Friends series. There were also some other DVD movies in there that can attract just about any age and gender because of the selections that they have in there. They have new ones, old ones and even hard to find movies… titles like Will Smith’s Seven Pounds, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Spongebob Squarepants and many more.

Not only movies but also sports and entertainment related are available up for grabs in the web site. I was able to find some concert series and some wrestling pay per views available in there, but limited in stocks so if anyone would want to buy in the site should go immediately because stocks always have the tendencies of running out. Anyway, shopping for DVDs has become a hobby of mine ever since I got addicted in to watching TV series.

I always want to watch nonstop of those commercial-free television programming and be able to rewind at some that I failed to understand or at those things that I failed to see because I had to do something else. I am really thankful that TV networks decided to sell their series in CDs and DVDs because I am able to watch even the ones that are no longer airing. –>

The month of May is just around the corner, which only means one thing… prom night is nearing and while a number of boys have already tried to ask me out for that night, I hate really it because of a lot of reasons. First, I don’t really like going to formal type of gatherings because I don’t own any prom dresses, or even any formal wear for that matter! I’m not that type of girl who would go out to the malls or stores to desperately look for prom dresses just because I want to look the best on that event. I have always been one of the boys and even though my friends say I am too pretty to do boy stuff, I just don’t care… I don’t even believe them when they say that.

At this point, what’s really bugging my brains out is the fact that all of my friends, boys and girls, are excited for that formal night. All of them said they will be there for various of reasons and if I don’t go there, I will definitely be out of the loop. I really hate it when I am out of the loop, being caught in the middle of a conversation where I am the only one who doesn’t know what my friends are talking about, which basically forces me to join them in the said event because even my best friend wants to go. The big problem is that I don’t have anything to wear. No prom shoes, no prom dress, no nothing! I have money to buy some new ones but I have been saving it for the WWE Summer Slam pay-per-view that I never missed, wherever city they may be holding it. This should be the first time that I’ll be able to watch it at front row and I already contacted someone to make sure that I will have a ticket reserved for me. I don’t want to use even just a part of that money because I would also have to buy tickets for a flight to Los Angeles, where they will be holding the event. Maybe I should just swallow my pride and take that prom advice that my best friend told me and go to my sister for any dress that I could borrow from her, or ask around to find a place where they sell cheap prom dresses, shoes and other stuff that I could buy. –>

Mexico

March 22nd, 2009 by admin

I was in Mexico last week for a vacation trip and it was a really fun experience until the time that I decided to go to the market to buy some stuff for the house and my friends’ souvenirs that they told me to buy them since nobody has been there before. When I got in to the market, I went in to a souvenir shop and I saw some nice items to buy but the problem was, the owner of the shop only knows a little of English and a whole lot of Spanish. We were really having a hard time talking to each other so I decided to give up and got out of his shop, but then later went back because it’s the only place that sells the ones that I liked. At that point I was thinking, I should have taken that crash course in learning Spanish Buenos Aires that they were offering me. Upon coming home, I went straight to my laptop and checked out some web sites that could offer me some really good Spanish because I know it won’t be the last time that I’ll go to Mexico. I saw a lot of ads about study abroad scholarships and volunteer abroad to teach. Maybe I can do that once I’m already good at it. –>
