I finally got my store up and running after a few weeks of being almost non-existent. There have been some issues that got raised in the past couple of weeks regarding the possibility of going bankrupt due to some mortgage matters and when we finally got that fixed, we decided to make sure that everything will go back the way they were. As a sign of thanks to those people that have been contacting us about what happened, as well as those people who always had been shopping in our store before the said dilemma, we decided to give them some promotional umbrellas and some promotional keyrings that has the logo and the name of the store as our token of appreciation to them. These gifts should also serve as a subtle way to advertize to the public that we are back in business and they can come in to the store and enjoy shopping with us once again. It will surely bring back our customers since most of them love getting freebies. And maybe we could have a raffle as well and the winner would get a push cart and he or she can put as many items as he or she wants in there, as long as it fits in the cart. Although I think I’ll just start planning on the details of that particular promo once everything is all set up. It would be a bit expensive and a bit hard to get sponsors from, but I’ll put some teasers for it early. –>

Mother’s day is just in a few weeks time and I can’t wait for the days to come because it is extra special this year. It would be the first time that my wife is celebrating it so I guess it should be fun decorating our house with some mother’s day design, and try to see what I can do for her the whole day. I’m also trying to find some top gifts now but I am having a little bit of a problem because I will need to buy three mother’s day gifts… one for my wife, one for my mother in law, and of course on for my mom. The challenge here is to be able to give a very unique gift to each one of them, and making sure that the gifts will fit them well. With my mom, it’s not really a problem since I know her too well but with my mother in law, since I never experienced living with her, I can’t think of what to give her. I already checked out some Top Mother’s Day Gifts countdowns or whatever they call it, and was even able to find some nice ones, but then again, I’m not too sure. I don’t want to ask my wife about it since she’s also one of the people that I’ll be giving gifts, which makes it harder than it already is. –>

I am looking for some nice groomsmen gifts right now for my wedding that will be happening two months from now. I was told by my father that it would be a good idea to give them something, even if they are only cheap groomsmen gifts to show appreciation that they have been there to help me out for the wedding. And of course, I am also looking for some nice best man gifts because my best man is my best friend, and I think he should get something better than anyone else. Right now, for the groomsmen, I am thinking of giving them something like that 13-Function Stainless Steel Army Knife that I saw over the internet, or maybe that Stainless Steel Lock-Back Knife in the same web site for the groomsmen. Then for my best man, I will go for some lighter and cigar accessories since he likes hitting Cuban cigars. I think it would be a good idea to give him one of those Cherry Wood Cigar Humidors so he could put it in to something nice, then I will give them one of those Brushed Flask And Zippo Lighter Gift Sets to make it complete for him. –>
